7 Tips to Prepare Your Home for Replacement Windows

Windows have a huge impact on your home. And choosing to get replacement windows in Hillsboro, OR is a big decision and investment. So if you are already in possession on some extra sheets or drop cloths, you can take the added measure of covering your own furniture.   

4. Make a Path

Installers will work both outside and inside your home. This means they will likely need a path from the front door to other parts of your home. To make the trek easier while they haul tools and supplies, try creating a clear path for them to use. Make sure you pick up rugs, toys, and remove cords.   

5. Prepare the Outside

Just as you clear the space inside, you should also do what you can to give workers space outside. Remove any patio furniture, pots, planters, or hoses that might get in the way. For the most part, workers will do what they can to avoid your plants and shrubs. 6. Put Pets Away
